e-Bullion® Security Signing Into Your Account
Automatic Time Outs
Password Management
Browser Requirements

The e-Bullion® network was designed and tested by a crack team of the industry's leading security specialists. Our system is aggressively audited and rigorously monitored and is under continuous surveillance to prevent any breaches of security that could  compromise your account.  Here are commonsense safety precautions that every account holder should take when using this (or any other financially-related) web site:

SIGNING INTO YOUR ACCOUNT

Before conducting a transaction, always look at the URL (website address) in your browser window to confirm that you are in the e-Bullion.com network. It should always read e-bullion.com.

Never sign into  your account from a third-party site.  Don't sign-in from a public "Cyber Cafe," any computer other than your own, or other third party locations.

If your browser is going to remain open, remember to SIGN-OUT when you have completed all of your transactions.

AUTOMATIC TIME-OUTS

For your maximum security and protection, an automatic time-out is in effect for all account activity.  After a pre-determined time limit, your session will be terminated and you will be signed out. See the FAQs page for additional information.

PASSWORD MANAGEMENT

e-Bullion.com is exploring ways to introduce additional cutting-edge customer account protection in the future (such as personal digital certificates and special one-time passwords) but at this time, your Password is your best protection against fraudulent use of your account.

For your safety and security, please follow these guidelines:

Never give out your password to anyone. Your password is protected in an encrypted form and is inaccessible to anyone but you. Your account can be unlocked with your password only.

No employee, technical support personnel or administrative representative of e-Bullion.com will ever ask for your password for any reason. If anyone ever attempts to get you to divulge your password, refuse and notify our Customer Service department immediately.

Change your password regularly. For maximum safety, choose a random, nonsense combination of letters (both lower and uppercase) and numbers, then change it regularly. (Never choose a word or partial word found in any English language or other dictionary.)  Protect your password. NEVER divulge it to anyone-- at any time-- under any circumstances!

Your Password is Your Security. Protect It!

BROWSER REQUIREMENTS

Your Password is your security. Protect it!To protect the integrity and security of your account and the e-Bullion.com network, all account holders are required to use a Cipher Strength 128 bit level browser.

Please Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 already includes 128-bit encryption, currently the highest level available for Internet communications, including financial and credit card transactions.  If you already have Internet Explorer 5.5 installed, you do not need to upgrade your browser with the Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack. For more information, go  to the Microsoft site and search for Internet Explorer information. If you are running an older version of MS Internet Explorer and want to keep it, you may be able to just update to the Microsoft High Encryption Pack. The site offers upgrades to your existing browser or an entirely new browser if you want it.

If you are running MS Windows 2000, installing Internet Explorer 5.5 will not change the current level of encryption on your computer. You will need to install the Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack.

America Online Users should download the latest version of the AOL browser. We recommend that you upgrade to AOL version 4.0 or higher.  If you have Windows 95/98, upgrade to AOL 5.0. (Keywords: Update or Upgrade).

Check your browser.  You can determine when encryption is being used on any given web page by looking for the following icons at the bottom of your browser.
